3 years University Hospital- Cardiac and Emergency Room. Also worked in Mental Health.
12 years Director of Nursing at 6 long term care facilities in Augusta. Had great successful outcomes including obtaining regulatory compliance and removing 2 of the 6 facilities  off special focus surveys.
I currently work in a long term facility as the Director of nursing…..mother is a resident.
As a DON I want to help other DONs and all the healthcare arena to make their job a little easier…dependent and compassionate healthcare workers that will come to work and do their job.
I want to place the best talent of nurses, nurses who are dedicated, compassionate, go above and beyond…great customer service.
If I say the staffing request is confirm, it is…..no worries…a nurse will be there.
Days of DON role is over, so I may not be in any local facility but I can still do my part in ensuring that patients get the best care!
